Scopolamine - Zombie Drug

I'm probably not the only person on here who has used scopolamine for rough swims.

I guess in Colombia it is used for crimes because it makes the person suggestible.

It didn't help Franco convince me to speed up at last year's Tampa swim though.

    What is the purpose of taking scopolamine for a rough swim? Is it for motion sickness?

    Yes, motion sickness. Pills aren't widely available in the U.S. but you can get them. Advantage to that is that they work faster than patches and you can take them the day of the event, or skip it if the water is smooth.

    Motion sickness took me out of action in the Tampa Swim in 2005, so when i returned in 14, I had them with me. I avoided motion sickness, but pulled out due to other things.
