Hi y'all. This coming June I'll be participating in a 6 swimmer relay swim in Baja California (Mexico). We're gonna have a doctor on board (he's also swimming), and I would like to make sure that the medical kit he brings covers the likely medical needs/situations we might encounter in such a swim. I'm interested in getting your expert input on which products/medicines we should bring on board and which might not necessarily be included in your average medical kit. Thx for your help.

    Not normally included?

    Clove oil. (Mouth/gum problems)
Peppermint oil capsules. (Stomach cramping, not seasickness, esp any cramps caused by food)
A topical antiseptic anesthetic ointment (wetsuit or other abrasions).
