OK, guys, I'm going to head up the MSF Movember group. Who's with me?

I'm on the Movember US site and can start a team there. Before I submit for a team name, I wanted to check to see how many men would join me? Some notes:

1) You have to start 1 November from a clean slate. @AquaRob, I'm talking to you.
2) The Movember site seems to be localized, thus the U.S. site. There is also a Movember UK site and I'm sure others. Do we all want to start teams with the same name?
3) Name: Can we start a team called Marathon Swimmers Federation? @evmo, @loneswimmer?

Any other ideas?

If you don't know, here's what Movember is all about (from their site):
Campaign Strategy & Goals:
We will get men to grow moustaches and the community to support them by creating an innovative, fun and engaging annual Movember campaign that results in:
• Funds for men's health programme investment
• Conversations about men's health that lead to:
- Greater awareness and understanding of the health risks men face
- Men taking action to remain well
- When men are sick they know what to do and take action

Programme Goals:
Living with and Beyond Cancer
Men living with prostate or testicular cancer have the care needed to be physically and mentally well.

Staying Mentally Healthy, Living with and Beyond Mental Illness
• Men are mentally healthy and take action to remain well
• When men experience mental illness they take action early
• Men are not treated differently when they experience a mental illness

Men's Health Research
We will fund innovative research that builds powerful, collaborative teams that accelerate:
• Improved clinical tests and treatments for prostate and testicular cancer
• Improved physical and mental health outcomes for men
What say you, men?

(BTW, there is a group called MoSistas, also, for our lady friends!)

MoSistas for you @ChickenOSea. And no, we don't want to see your "beard" picture from last year.

If a month of neglect in my personal grooming department could make the world a better place; this would be eden.
    Sorry for the buzzkill.

...anything worth doing is worth overdoing.

OK, our team is set up.

If you want to join our team, go to this page and click on Join (button below the familiar MSF picture):

Anyone can join! You don't have to be a member of this forum. Get your friends involved!

Ladies, there is no reason you can't join. Movember has a MoSistas group.

Guys, we don't like talking about it, but prostate cancer and testicular cancer are out there, and we need to be aware. Not to get too personal, but my father skipped an annual physical once, and his PSA went from less than 1.0 to over 4.0 in just two years. Long story short: He no longer has a prostate. He was only in his mid-50's.

How does growing a mustache in November help? Well, I can tell you that for me, it'll look so bad that people will ask, "WTF are you growing that porn mustache for?" That's my opening to a) talk to the man about his health or b) talk to the woman about her father's, brother's, boyfriend's, husband's or son's health. Then, if they feel like donating, I'll give them this link.

OK, enough from me. I'll post pictures of my visage periodically throughout November to show you guys how horrible I'm willing to look to bring attention to men's health. Will you join me?

As promised (or threatened, more like), here is a progress picture. Four days into Movember and I look like some damn hippie. Look at that bushy growth! (Best if you right click, save pic, then open it up and zoom in 400%)

Thanks @Niek. But for @evmo: I didn't add anything to what the blue button gave me.

@Niek, I just edited my comment and took off the ending you suggested, still nothing.

the photo upload was successful, but the code output was wrong. if you know how to fix the code then the photo will appear. but i'll work on fixing the code output problem.
